Blue and Orange

Late summer has been quite busy this year with putting up lots of veggies from the garden and a relaxing vacation to Michigan.  Getting back into the blogging routine has been a challenge.  Here's a simple table I put together using some new cloches I recently found at All About Home.

I found these salad plates at World Market earlier this summer and used them here.  I knew they would look nice with blue and found these placemats on sale at Kohl's.  The glasses and soup tureen are from a local resale shop!

The vegetable garden work is winding down and I'm looking forward to getting back into a more regular routine.

Thanks for visiting!

Love your blue and orange tablescape. The WM plates are so pretty on your table, both with blue placemats and the orange chargers.

Love the blue glasses with those pretty plates. Where did you go in Michigan?

This is a great transitional table! It has the white to balance everything out, the orange of all, and the blue of summer. Perfect!

I understand about struggling to get back into blogging mode after a little time off. I took a couple of weeks to try to get things going around here, and now I'm kind of lost. It'll pick back up for both of us, though. WE just have to let the weather cool down which is coming starting tomorrow.

Pretty table, and great bargain pieces to fill it out! That soup tureen was a really terrific find!!!

How beautiful! We're both in the same wave length with the orange and blue, I totally adore the combo and your dishes are gorgeous, along with the blue place mat! I'm glad you went to Michigan, what a lovely state.

Such a pretty table! If you look at my blog today you'll see I've used the same salad plates! I had challenged myself to only use dishes I hadn't used before, so I was VERY limited to my plate combinations, but I really like the way you highlighted the blue and orange. When I use these plates again, I'm going to go with your combination!! Thanks for sharing. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

Very pretty blue and orange tablescape...great minds think alike, lol! It's a very fresh setting, just right to transcend to Autumn in a subtle way.
Loving the cloches on top of the lovely plates.
