Golden Trees

While doing some after-Christmas shopping with Precious Daughter, I found these pretty salad plates on sale at William Sonoma.

This summer, Precious Daughter found these glittery gold placemats on sale at Pier 1 and bought them for me.

The holidays are the perfect time for a little sparkle.  Even though these plates are sporting elegant Christmas trees, I think they would also set a lovely
New Year's Eve table.

The tablecloth is from Target.  I think it sets a wintry mood.

Now that I've decided on our table setting, I'll be working on the menu for
New Year's Eve.  What plans are you making?
Whatever you do, have a safe celebration.

Joining these great parties -

I have wandered over from Project 365 even though you were listed under Project 52. You were probably the smarter one to attempt one photo a week instead of one a day but I went for it...
It's so nice to meet you and visit your lovely blog. Your table is beautiful and yes I agree it's beautiful for New Year's too.
I look forward to visiting you more....

Now, THAT is one pretty table! I love the gold sparkle, both on the trees on the plates and on the placemats. My mother always set a gold table, and I think they are the best.

Wishing you a Happy New Year! I'm dropping by from Susan's blog party.
