Silver Forest

Kathleen, of Cuisine Kathleen, has given us another tablescaping challenge just in time for Christmas.  This time we are to create a table that was inspired by one we saw on Pinterest.  My inspiration is from Susan at

When I saw her table using these lovely trees, I knew I'd found my inspiration!
Susan said she got several of these trees at Pottery Barn but I found mine recently at Sam's Club.

These mercury glass trees are so pretty lit in the evening.

The white bottle brush trees are from All About Home in Troy, Missouri.

This would be a pretty setting for an elegant dinner.

I'm slowing getting ready for Christmas and this challenge made me set my first table of the season.  Sometimes even retired people need deadlines!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's "Copy Cat Tables" at

What a beautiful table - it is so sparkly. The trees look like they are lit from within! I love how you did different place settings! I have taught classes on tablescaping and I tell ladies to do that. It really makes the table interesting! Great take on the challenge!

Just beautiful! What a delight to dine at that table, so silvery and glimmering! You did a wonderful take on Susan's table! Thank you so much for taking the challenge! Yes, sometimes we need to be pushed into things, lol! If I hadn't issued the challenge, I probably would have skipped it!

Hello there, young lady! Good job! I like your interpretation! I haven't been to Sam's Club in a lot of years. I'm thinking maybe I need to to borrow my son's card and pop in there one day. The trees you found there are really nice!

Well done! Enjoy your weekend!

Beautiful! I love the mercury glass trees that you found at Sam's club. Susan's tables are amazing and you have done a wonderful job of copying the essence of her beautiful mercury glass tree tablescape. I copied one of Susan's tables too. Susan is so sweet and so helpful when you ask her about how she created her tables.
