I found this material in a pre-cut 'layer cake' awhile back and loved the pastel colors. It reminded me of vintage material, and what better material for a quilt?
I used a patchwork pattern called Modern Vintage from Sunnyside Designs and loved how it turned out.
It's lighter color scheme works well for a light weight quilt on chilly spring and summer evenings.
A butterfly fabric on the back makes it's pretty on both sides.
I really like the old time look of this quilt. Using the pre-cut material really made it come together quickly.
Thanks for stopping by!

Your quilt is simply stunning, dear friend! Thank you for sharing with us. Hugs!
What a sweet quilt. I am looking for a quick pattern to make a quilt for one of my grandchildren and this looks ideal. Now to find the fabric.
This is a lovely quilt, Zenda. The pretty pastel fabrics do have a wonderful vintage look to them and the butterfly fabric on the back is perfect. Your pretty quilt looks perfect resting on your sofa.
You're right Zenda, this looks very a la vintage. Very pretty indeed, and so much work has gone into it. Gorgeous! Mimi xxx
I love it! It is so pretty. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Hi sweet friend! I just wanted to let you know that this post will be featured at Roses of Inspiration later this afternoon. Thanks for sharing it at the party last week.

Hi, you have created a beautiful quilt. Congratulation. Have a nice day.
Zenda, aren't those precut layer cakes wonderful? I have used them, charm packs, and jelly rolls and they really do help the quilt come together. Love the fabrics in this bundle! Great job! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
