Switching to Spring

It's been a long winter, hasn't it?  We've had lots of rain lately and the temperatures are slowing starting to warm.  I'm noticing those cheery signs of spring outside so I thought it was time to lighten it up inside.

The great room shelves have a new look.

I found this yellow ginger jar at Homegoods.  It's a little unusual but pretty for spring, don't you think?  It goes well with the rest of my spring decor.
My looking glass begonia made it through the winter.

The dining room
This little "Grammy" sign is a gift from Jack's other grandmother.  It's a real treasure!

I found this bowl at Target and put it to use right away.  The inspiration came from Ann Drake at On Sutton Place blog.  She set a lovely minimalist
table setting for spring.

The kitchen tray is decorated, too.
This little sign sums up the reason we celebrate this special season.

How are you decorating your home for spring?
I'm wishing you a very blessed Easter.

It is always a joy to stroll through your lovely home, Zenda. The yellow ginger jar is pretty, and yes, fits in perfectly with spring decor. The eggs in the bowl is a lovely and sophisticated touch for Easter. Love too, the kitchen tray with the sweet bunny peeking out; and of course the little sign says it all, really. Your Grammy sign is very sweet evoking much love. Oh, that wall of glorious shelves and cupboards.....they are fabulous. May you and your family enjoy a blessed Easter, too, overspilling with much love.

Hi!!! Happy Spring! You’ve been hard at work preparing for the season that, thank goodness, is finally here. I love the way your shelves expand all the way across the wall above your fireplace. Lots of space for decorative items and books!

I enjoy seeing the minimalist style at work. It’s always interesting to see how one’s interpretation plays out as we all have a slightly different one. I like yours. To the point!

Happy Spring to you and yours!

Everything looks so nice, cherry and bright. Love your Grammy sign! I have several friends that their grands call them grammy. I love it. You have such a beautiful home dear Zenda. Thanks for your prayers for Marty and I. You are precious. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
